Economics

Course Overview:  This course is designed to give students an understanding of basic economic principles, how to apply these principles and how these principles relate to the American free-enterprise system.  Areas of study include the importance of economics, supply and demand, the role of government, money/banking, labor, competition/monopoly, and the stock market.
